The sacred land on which we operate is situated upon the traditional territories of the Wendat, Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabeg, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. It is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee to peaceably share and care for the lands around the Great Lakes. We recognize the many Nations of Indigenous People, who live and have lived here, and the ancestors who have hunted and gathered on this land known as Turtle Island.
